HTML TagsWhat are HTML TagsHTML tags are essentially what make up the structure of your website. Without the tags you would simple have a bunch of text that looks like a long paragraph. Okay can you be a little more specific?Tags are the identifiers in your webpage coding that tells your browser to render out your pages in a certain way. Making good use of your HTML tags is also a real key to having a well seo'ed website. Learning your tags and how to use them to their fullest potential can increase not only your own coding capabilities but can also raise your rankings in the search engines. Some "tags" like the H1-H6 tags have a specific power in the search engines. Knowing how to use them properly can raise your rankings. Using them inproperly can lower your rankings. If you do not know how to use them you should get ahold of someone who does or just take a class to figure out how to do it.
